Food Safety

Our Company has always been dedicated to having a positive impact on the environment. This philosophy has become part of our culture. In 1996, as a result of increasing awareness and concerns amongst consumers of food safety we built on these previous commitments by integrating into our cropping program, food safety, quality assurance and environmental protocols.

This work has resulted in this protocol that encompasses our farming system. Although this is not exhaustive it covers the major issues and decisions that are made as part of day to day operations. We have called our protocol Balle Bros Fresher.

Balle Bros Fresher is supported by information systems and standard operating procedures that are comprehensively documented and maintained. The protocol will be reviewed and updated in spring and in autumn of each year so that it retains its currency and relevance.
