This farm sits up on the banks of Lake Waikare, not far off State Highway 1 as it passes by Rangiriri in the Waikato. With a beautiful view and excellent drainage, our crops don’t complain about growing here! It’s close proximity to the lake means good natural ground moisture, which in turn means less irrigation.
We grow potatoes destined for processing as well as onions and squash, harvested over summer.
