Typically a winter dish, Alex just can’t get enough of the Cauliflower Mince Gratin with Mashed Potatoes.  She loves it so much that its on her menu all year round!

1 medium to large Cauliflower
1 kg Mince
Baby Peas
Cheese (Tasty or Colby)
Rosemary or Marjoram (what ever preference you have)

Cut cauliflower in smaller pieces. Boil until soft.
Boil potatoes (Agria or Moonlight)
Fry mince until cooked. Add salt, pepper and rosemary (or marjoram).
Add peas.

Put mince mix into a large oven dish. Arrange cauliflower on top. Grind cheese over cauliflower.
Bake in the oven (approx. 150 Degrees) until cheese melted and golden.

Add 1 cup of milk and 2 table spoons of butter to boiled potatoes.
Mash until creamy.

Serve the Gratin with your Mashed Potatoes.
