Based in Pukekohe, we  transport a variety of commodities including fresh produce, machinery, and other general bulk freight. We operate a variety of truck and trailer units including Flat deck, Curtain Sider and Bulk tipping.

The candidate

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience on HPMV as some combinations are running at 60T.
  • Competent Hoist Driver
  • Clean truck licence
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude and show initiative.
  • Have pride in your personal presentation and the equipment you drive.
  • Must be NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Health & Safety Advisor

We have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team.  This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Group HR Manager. You will work across several sites both in our farming operations, packhouses and our Mr Chips factory where we manufacture frozen chips.  This is an exciting hands-on role where you can demonstrate your leadership skills to continuously improve health and safety performance by collaboratively creating a positive culture of safe

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide guidance, coaching and leadership to our teams to help influence, promote and build a strong safety culture.
  • Risk Management and its application.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain training programmes.
  • Incident management and investigation
  • Assist with the implementation of H&S initiatives/policies including inductions and pre-qualifications of our service providers.
  • Monitor health and safety practices and reporting on health and safety system.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and its amendments including HSNO
  • Engaging and communicative style which inspires action and empowers teams to own safety. 
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience
  • Operational Health and Safety experience working with machinery and equipment would be an advantage.

Agricultural Diesel Mechanic

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics both scheduled and preventative maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency calls
  • Control downtime through preventative maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
  • Keep appropriate and accurate records of service and repairs.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • NZ Driver’s License Class 1 and 2
  • Forklift Licence
  • Trade Certified
  • Basic or sound electrical, mechanical and welding experience
  • Ability to repair and maintain a wide range of agricultural equipment specialising in John Deere Tractors.
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
