The Balle family have been growing vegetables in and around the Franklin region since 1919. The children of Bernie and Norah Balle were raised out in the paddocks, growing and harvesting potatoes and onions. Life was a simple but hard working one. Balle Bros as it is known today is the culmination of efforts from immediate family along with their family of staff.
